Going Small to Heal Big: Atomic Healing

When you have a chronic health issue, sometimes healing at the atomic level can make seismic shifts in your health because we are electromagnetic beings.

Swedish radiologist Dr. Bjorn Nordenstrom’s cancer research discovered electrical currents in connective tissue, blood vessels, and the central nervous system. He found that damaged cells and cancer cells had an electrical or magnetic balance, which could be balanced with either electrical or magnetic energies.

Although very controversial, his findings led other researchers to support his ideas. Cancer cells have been found to have different electrical activity than healthy cells. For example, pulsed electromagnetic frequencies (PEMF) have been found to have anticancer effects and can reduce cellular stress, increase the rate of DNA transcription, and alter immune responses. Electromagnetic fields could be an alternative cancer therapy with fewer side effects than traditional radiation and chemotherapy.

If you’ll remember from your middle school science class, the basic units of atoms are electrons (negatively charged particles), protons (positively charged particles), and neutrons which have no charge and affect the mass of the atom. According to renowned energy healer and author Cyndi Dale, when we reprogram our atoms to emanate divine love, this can cause major shifts in our physical health including healing organ systems, psychological problems, deep ancestral issues, or even collective consciousness.

In a way, if we are working from a heart-centered place, the love and light that radiates outward create a sort of force field around us much like the neutrons hold the center of the atom while the electrons and protons orbit around. Essentially we can fill our space with divine love instead of unhealthy energies.

Healing atoms can also be applied to healing biophotons (tiny units of light particles and waves) and phonons (neither wave nor particle. They are a quantum unit of energy that arises from vibrating atoms within a crystal) in our bodies, which have been scientifically shown to affect our electromagnetic fields and DNA.

Taking this concept a bit further, what if our atoms are responding to Dr. Rupert Sheldrake’s theory about the morphogenic fields around us?

Sheldrake contests that through morphogenic resonance, species not the brain share memories that affect behavior, not laws of nature. These fields have temporal spacial activity, and in humans, are akin to what the psychologist Carl Jung called the “collective conscious.”

According to Cyndi Dale, unhealthy patterns and energetic interferences of the morphogenic field can be found in a person’s 10th auric field which is found right outside of the 1st layer right outside the skin. Social and behavioral patterns about the human species can be stored in the morphogenic fields as well as ancestral trauma and familial issues and memories can also be stored here, so it’s an incredibly valuable area of healing. Sheldrake poses that our morphogenic fields, not our brains store our memories.

This concept was considered heresy when Sheldrake developed this theory in the 1980s and challenges our concept of traditional genetics, and I’d also include epigenetics.

Morphogenic resonance makes sense when we consider the quantum theory of entanglement, which explains how two particles can be connected and even depend upon each other even if they are separated by billions are light years. Think back to major social movements that have shaped our morals and behaviors over time, the collective fear that shook the world during the Covid pandemic, and the overall psyche of society.

From a quantum healing perspective, light and sound can move faster than the speed of light according to quantum physics. When we also consider that time and space are relative, and the very real possibility of multiple planes of existence, we can open ourselves to the possibility that:

  • We have infinite possibilities to heal

  • Our healing might have already taken place before the healing occurred

  • Our chakras and energy channels (meridians, nadis, or whatever you want to call them) are conduits for light and information that affect our energy fields and physiology

  • Humans are made up of light and sound, so it would be logical to think that for deep healing to occur, we need to shift the light and sound frequencies in our body as well as our biofields (electromagnetic fields from our heart and brains for example).

  • Open to the possibility that reprogramming the energy in our atoms could be the catalyst for creating positive changes in the human morphogenic fields.
